About these terms
These terms apply to anyone who uses the FirstSeed website, applies for assistance, or contributes to a program. FirstSeed is operated by [legal entity name], [business address].
How programs work
- FirstSeed runs six assistance programs. Each program raises money in quarterly cycles.
- A cycle opens for applications only once it reaches its funding goal. It closes 10 days before the quarter ends, and decisions are made by the last day of the quarter.
- All dates and cutoffs use Central time.
- Submitting an application doesn't guarantee an award. FirstSeed reviewers make every decision, and decisions are final.
Applicants
- Information in your application must be true and accurate. You can apply once per program per cycle.
- Awards must be used for the need described in your application.
- Awards are paid through our payment partner, Stripe. You'll need to complete Stripe's payout setup to receive an award.
- Fees are covered in our fee and contribution policies.
Contributors
Contributions are not tax-deductible. See the fee and contribution policies for how contributions are used and how refund requests work.
Accounts
Keep your sign-in details private. We may suspend accounts that provide false information or misuse the site.
