First Seed Grant Program

Every month, First Seed awards a $500 grant to an entrepreneur or small business owner who just needs a little push to take their vision to the next level. Whether you’re launching, expanding, or rebuilding — this seed of support is meant to help you grow.

How it Works

1. Complete a short application
2. Pay a $25 non-refundable application fee
3. Be automatically entered into the monthly selection

Eligibility Requirement

1. Must be a business in official good standing (EIN required)
2. Must be a member of the First Seed Community
3. We recommend and encourage all applicants to actively support existing First Seed campaigns as a way to build community and increase impact.
4. Must demostrate a clear vision for how the grant will support business growth
5. The Grant application opens on the 1st of each month and closes on the 20th. will Applications submitted after the 20th will not be eligible for the $500 Grant drawing.

To support our business community and cover basic admin costs, we ask for a $25 application fee. Grant winners are selected based on their application and business needs. Donations are welcomed to help fund future grants, but are not required to win.
